First the Why
Why do we give?
We give because everything we have ultimately comes from God. Financial giving is an act of worship and gratitude. It allows us to invest in the work of the Gospel and partner together in serving others.
Why does giving matter?
Our church is sustained by the generosity of those who call it home. Giving enables us to care for people, support ministries, maintain our space, and reach our community. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference.
Why should I give financially to the church?
Giving is one way we participate in the work God is doing through our church. Financial gifts support ministry, outreach, discipleship, and the practical needs that allow the church to serve our community well. When you give, you help make that mission possible.
Ways to Give
Giving In Person
What is giving in person?
Giving in person allows you to make your gift during our Sunday service by placing it in the secure giving box. Many people appreciate this option as a tangible act of worship and participation in the life of the church.
One-Time Online Gift
What is a one-time online gift?
A one-time online gift is a single donation made through our secure online giving platform. This option is convenient and flexible, allowing you to give at any time, from anywhere.
Recurring Online Giving
What is recurring giving?
Recurring giving is an automated donation scheduled at regular intervals (such as weekly or monthly). This option provides a consistent way to support the church’s ministry and helps you plan your giving intentionally and faithfully.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. Contributions to our church are generally tax-deductible as allowed by U.S. tax law. Because tax situations vary, we recommend consulting your tax professional for specific guidance. Most online and check donations provide a record that you can use for your tax purposes.
-
Your generosity supports the ministries of our church, including worship, discipleship, children’s ministry, outreach, facilities, and local care. We also pray over and budget gifts so we can support missions beyond our walls.
-
Yes. We are deeply honored when families choose to give in memory of someone who has passed. Memorial gifts can be a meaningful way to celebrate a life and invest in the ongoing work of the ministry. If you would like to make a donation in honor of a loved one, please indicate their name when giving, and we will ensure it is received with gratitude and care.
-
If you want to give to a specific ministry you can note that when giving online or indicate it on your in-person envelope. If no designation is made, gifts go to our general ministry fund, where leadership prayerfully allocates them for kingdom work.
-
Tithing traditionally refers to returning the first 10% of your income to God as an act of obedience and worship. While the specific percentage is a personal decision between you and God, the Bible encourages believers to give generously, sacrificially, and with a joyful heart.
-
We believe giving is broader than finances. If you’re seasonally unable to give financially, you can still serve with your time, prayers, talents, and presence, all of which matter deeply in building up the body of Christ.

“The point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
