On May 7th 2022 we started to meet as a group of people who wanted to share God’s love and Jesus’ story with the city of Winchester.

Several people at Gospel Community Church were sent out from Hope in the Valley Baptist Church to be the first seeds of a new local church. Hope of the Valley Church recognized the need for a local church in Winchester and called Pastor Michael Flynn and his wife, Rachel, to lead in this effort of starting this community.

After having worshipped together for four years and built a culture of grace and personal growth towards Christ, Gospel Community Church is still longing to reach out to the community and share how much God loves this community (and the rest of the world).

We have a fierce focus on understanding Jesus’ story, living out Jesus’ love in hospitality, building people up to lead others like Jesus, and to engage the community around us like Jesus had.
