The Hospitality Ministry exists to help create a warm, welcoming, and intentional environment where every person who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and invited into community. Through simple acts of service, this team helps create an atmosphere that reflects the love of Christ and makes Gospel Community Church feel like home.

The Why

We believe the small things matter.

A warm greeting, an open door, and a simple cup of coffee can help create an environment where people feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to engage in worship and community. Hospitality is one of the first ways we can tangibly reflect the heart of Christ by serving others with intentionality, kindness, and joy.

This ministry exists to serve the church by creating a space where people feel welcomed, known, and encouraged from the moment they arrive.

What we do

The Hospitality Team serves in practical ways that help create a warm and inviting environment each Sunday.

This includes:

  • Preparing and serving coffee

  • Opening doors and greeting people as they arrive

  • Welcoming new and returning guests

  • Helping create an inviting and intentional atmosphere

  • Serving in simple ways that help people feel comfortable and cared for

Through these acts of service, the Hospitality Team helps set the tone for a welcoming church environment where people can feel at home.

When and Where

The Hospitality Team serves every Sunday at Gospel Community Church.

Serving opportunities are flexible and designed to fit individual schedules and availability, making it easy to serve consistently in a way that works for you.

Team members serve throughout Sunday mornings before and during service to help prepare and maintain a welcoming environment for everyone attending.

Who can serve

This ministry is open to anyone with a heart to serve.

No prior experience or special training is needed. If you are willing to serve with kindness, intentionality, and a welcoming spirit, there is a place for you here.

Whether you are outgoing and love connecting with people or simply enjoy serving behind the scenes, the Hospitality Team offers a meaningful way to help care for the church.
