The Outreach Ministry exists to extend the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church by meeting practical needs, serving our local community, and creating opportunities to share the hope of the gospel through tangible acts of care.
Our desire is to reflect the heart of Jesus by serving others with compassion, intentionality, and faithfulness.
The Why
We believe the Church is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus within our community.
Outreach is one of the ways we actively demonstrate the love of Christ by meeting practical needs and caring for those around us. Through intentional service, we seek to show the compassion of Jesus while creating opportunities for people to experience His love in meaningful ways.
This ministry exists to help our church serve beyond Sunday mornings and make a real impact in the lives of people within our community.
What we do
Our Outreach Ministry currently focuses primarily on serving through our Food Pantry.
Through this ministry, we help provide food and practical support to individuals and families in need within our local community.
As the ministry continues to grow, additional outreach opportunities may be developed to further serve and support our city through acts of compassion and care.
When and Where
Outreach opportunities are offered through scheduled Food Pantry service times and additional opportunities as needs arise.
All outreach efforts are coordinated through Gospel Community Church, with service opportunities communicated to registered team members as they become available.
Serving opportunities are designed to be accessible and flexible for those who desire to participate.
Who can serve
This ministry is open to anyone with a heart to serve others and meet practical needs within our community.
No prior experience is necessary. If you have a willingness to serve with compassion and intentionality, there is a place for you on this team.
Whether serving through food distribution, organization, preparation, or practical support, every role helps demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways
