Cha.. Cha… Changes: September 27, 2026
Life throws a lot of shifts and curveballs our way, doesn't it? If we’re being completely honest, change can sometimes just really stink! But this past Sunday's message was such a encouraging reminder: even when everything around us is changing, we are anchored in a God who never changes.
The speaker dove into Romans 8:28—that comforting promise that God works all things together for good—and walked us through four sweet reminders for whenever life feels unpredictable:
God stays constant when life gets chaotic: Money, plans, and routines can shift overnight, but Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Building our foundation on Him keeps us steady when the ground beneath us moves.
He gives us courage when we're scared: Facing the unknown can be intimidating. But courage isn't the total absence of fear—it’s choosing to trust God even when we feel a little nervous! As God promised Joshua, He goes with us wherever we step.
We can trust Him with what we can't control: Sometimes life changes in ways we didn't choose and don't fully understand. Instead of driving ourselves crazy trying to figure out "why," we can ask God to help us simply trust His loving heart through the process.
He invites us to bring good change to others: God doesn't just want us to survive life's changes; He wants to use us to share His light! Whether it's showing extra kindness, standing up for what's right, or serving someone in need, we get to be His hands and feet in our community.
A Little Thought for Your Week
Instead of asking, "Why is this changing?", what if we asked, "God, what sweet thing do you want to do through me in this new season?"
Whenever He calls us to let go, He gives us grace. Whenever He asks us to step out, He goes right ahead of us. Hope you have a wonderful and peaceful week ahead!
